Connection layers

  1. 1A provider definition describes the connector and supported capabilities.
  2. 2A platform administrator configures and enables it.
  3. 3An eligible organization or instructor authorizes its own account.
  4. 4A product workflow uses the permitted capability, such as selecting a course source.

Capability first

A connected status does not automatically mean that every provider capability is available in Course Studio. Product workflows are released separately and should state their availability clearly.
